In the heart of downtown Minneapolis the Hewing offers a industrial-rustic aesthetic that incorporates Minnesota's cultural touches. The Hewing is a place near and dear to our heart as it was where we celebrated both match day and the evening after we got engaged. Equipped with a rooftop bar, hot tub, and beautiful views of the skyline it will keep you entertained.

The Hewing is ~1 mile from the venue & welcome ceremony making it an easy ride-share or walk away and it's just blocks from the best bars and restaurants Minnesota has to offer.

The wedding couple and party will be staying here, and we encourage those interested in joining us for evening activities to reserve at the Hewing.

Here are some additional, budget-friendly options for friends and family. Rates listed below may not be accurate at time of your search. We'd advise using Tripadvisor or Hotels.com for most competitive pricing. Should you chose to find your own hotel in downtown Minneapolis a good rule of thumb is places closer to the Mississippi will tend to be near more activities, and walkable.

Radisson Red: Located just a block from the Guthrie (Minneapolis's premiere performing arms center) and a few steps from the stone arch bridge, with reasonable rates (currently $242/night), while still within <1 miles of all of our events.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott: Located in Northloop (the trendy industrial-chic neighborhood), this extended stay hotel will give you the most bang for you buck with current rates at $168/night and less then a mile from all of our events.

AirBnB: Neighborhoods we recommend for home rentals...

Northeast: Just north of the venue site, lots of single family homes, easy drive to all events.

Marcy Homes/Como: Just east of our venue, near U of MN campus. Neighborhoods with college students and affordable home rentals.

Uptown: Anywhere around Lake of the Isles, Lake Bde Maka Ska, Lake Harriet, beautiful homes and eateries with great walking paths around the lakes. Of note, this will be a ~15min drive to the venue.

Nicollet Island Inn offers cozy BnB style rooms hosted in a historic building just blocks from the venue. This hotel is equipped with a classic supper club with beautiful views of the Mississippi river.

Nicollet Island is not a three minute walk from the welcome party and across the street from the wedding venue, which offers a perfect space for those who don't wish to drive. And even so, there is a parking lot with free parking if you so chose.
